Prices

No two cakes are alike at Wild Sugar, which means no two prices are alike!

Your order will be completely custom so an exact price will be given after all the details of your cake are decided!

Price is completely dependent on the size of the cake, how complex the design is and the availability of the ingredients. For example, if you need a birthday cake to feed 100 people that has intricate designs and has an ingredient that is out of season or hard to get (fresh berries can be a good example of this) your cake will cost a bit more than the average order.

I will work with any budget to make you an amazing cake for your event! There are many cost-efficient ways to get an amazing cake on ANY budget! (Check out Fake Cake in the Tips and Suggestions below!)




Base price is $3.50 per serving (Check out the tips below to determine servings!)


3-D Carved Cakes: Start at $100 (Example: The Army Tank cake)

Cupcakes: $2.50 ea, $2.75 with filling, $3.00 with custom design
             *Discount for larger orders



Chocolate covered Strawberries: $2 each
             *Discount for larger orders



Cookies: $25 per dozen
              *Discount for larger orders

  • Same day or next day rush orders - $15 extra
  • Orders $100+ will require a deposit of 25% of the total cost
  • Delivery is available. Suggested for wedding cakes.

Based on the above serving chart, the average wedding cake with a 12" foam dummy, 10", 8", 6" tiers would serve 60 people and cost


Tips and Suggestions!


  • The standard cake serving size is 2 inches by 2 inches (the cakes are typically 4 inches high)
  • Obviously, get an estimate of the number of guests. If it's a dessert only reception times that number by 1.5 (100 guests x 1.5 = 150 servings) especially if guests serve themselves from a table of pre-cut cake slices. If you are serving dinner or heavy finger foods then only times by 1.25. 
  • There's usually unexpected guests, or the server might cut the pieces bigger or smaller than the standard, and some guests might want seconds. I'd rather have too much cake than run out of cake!
  • Fake Cake! If you are looking for a larger formal wedding cake, but don't need as many servings (or want a big cake but not a big price), consider "fake" cake. One or more tiers can be foam so you can have more tiers without increasing the servings. The difference in the wow-factor between a 3 tier cake and a 4 tier cake is dramatic! And it only increases the price by about $20 compared to at least $60 for a real cake tier! 
  • Grooms Cake! Some Brides like to surprise their future husband with a Grooms cake in addition to the wedding cake! Most like to theme it with the Grooms favorite sports team, hobby or school logo and is usually the Grooms favorite flavor! 
  • Save the Cake! Most couples like to celebrate their 1st Anniversary with the top tier of their wedding cake. Personally, I think that is gross. Who wants to eat frost-bitten, year-old, stale cake? My cake is good, but it doesn't fare well in the freezer that long! So my suggestion is, you and your guests enjoy ALL the cake on your wedding day, then call me in about 11 months and order a replica of your top tier for $20. That way you get to eat fresh, delicious cake on your anniversary!
  • Cupcake Cakes Available! Cupcakes are all the rage right now! They are easy to serve and easy to have many different flavors! Cupcakes cakes are available for any occasion! For the topper you can use cupcakes, a round or square cake, chocolate strawberries, or a flower arrangement.
  • Outdoor Events Cake does not do well in the heat. It's sugar, and sugar melts! If your event is outside, I suggest storing the cake in an air conditioned place til it's time to serve it. I cannot guarantee the condition of the cake if it's in the heat or sun!
  • Cake Accents Ribbon, fresh or fake flowers, cake toppers, or anything else you may want can be added to the cake. You are welcome to bring me anything you'd like on it, or if I supply it, I only charge you what it cost me.
